Repeat Prescription

Please allow 2-3 working days for us to process prescription requests before you collect them.

You can also nominate a pharmacy to have your prescription sent to directly.

The NHS App

The quickest and easiest way to request a repeat prescription is through the NHS App.

Available for all smartphones, the free NHS app lets you order a repeat prescription in a few easy steps at any time, with no need to call the practice.

You can also use the NHS App to book appointments, get advice, views your records and more.

In Person

Visit us at Molineux Street NHS Centre or the Shieldfield Health Centre and speak to the Reception Team. Please bring the repeat prescription form part of our last prescription.

 

By Telephone

If you’re unable to order medication online or are unable to visit the surgery, please call our prescription line.

The prescription line is open between 9am-11am Monday to Friday, please call the surgery as normal and select option 3.

Via SystmConnect

You can request prescriptions by submitting a medication request via SystmConnect. Once the completed form has been received by the practice, please allow 2-3 working days for your prescription to be issued. Please follow the link below:

Urgent Prescription Requests

Medication can only be requested urgently if this is deemed as a clinically urgent medication. Otherwise, medication requests for ‘non urgent’ medications will be requested and issued as normal, this usually takes 2 working days.

Prescription Queries

If you have queries in regards to your medications, please complete a SystmConnect form, you can submit a form via the following link and we will acknowledge your SystmConnect form within 2 working days.

If you have any queries in regards to the delivery of your medication, you will need to contact your nominated pharmacy directly.

Local Pharmacy Services

You can enter your postcode on the NHS website to find a Pharmacy near you.

Through the NHS App, you can nominate a pharmacy to have your prescriptions send to directly.

If you are away from home, you can use the NHS App to create a prescription barcode, which you can use to collect your medication anywhere.

As well as dispensing medicine, your local pharmacist can help you with a range of common illness, including such as coughs, colds, sore throats, ear infections and aches and pains. This is called Pharmacy First
