Patients can be considered for Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) weight loss treatment IF they meet the criteria below.
Only the following patients can considered for treatment:
Have a BMI of 40 or more, and have at least four of the following health conditions:
+ High blood pressure treated with medication
+ Raised cholesterol treated with medication, or raised levels off medication
+ Obstructive sleep apnoea treated with CPAP
+ Cardiovascular disease- (example angina, heart attack, stroke, narrowed arteries in the legs, heart failure)
+ Type 2 diabetes mellitus
NB: WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER MOUNJARO AS A WEIGHT LOSS AID IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE CRITERIA ABOVE
