Measles is highly infectious and can lead to serious complications.

Common clinical features include a fever, conjunctivitis, and cough. This is typically followed by a characteristic red blotchy rash which usually appears on the face between the third and seventh days of illness and later becomes generalised.

There have been confirmed cases of the disease locally and we urge you to be vaccinated against measles.
